Hypnosis

tranquilHypnosis is a perfectly natural state of complete relaxation within the physical body and heightened awareness within the mind. This occurs naturally in everyday life and is very similar to the trance-like feeling you have when daydreaming. As you enter the hypnotic state you become less aware of your surroundings and you become more acutely aware of your inner feelings.

Within this world of mental calm you can automatically direct your attention on the agreed suggestions of the hypnotist. The subconscious feeling mind is more receptive to these suggestions and will help you to effectively break the habit pattern.

The state of deep mental relaxation is very pleasant and your mind will remain very clear throughout, however deeply you go. You remain the 'captain', the hypnotherapist is just the 'navigator'. There is no question of being controlled or manipulated against your will, you remain in control at all times. Hypnosis is obtained through focused concentration, for example on the therapist's voice. Once the deep state of hypnotic relaxation has been reached, the subconscious mind is able to absorb information, suggestion and other content which bring about the therapeutic changes.

The techniques of NLP can get rid of limiting decisions and beliefs, stress, anxiety, phobia, obsession, compulsion, anger and other negative emotions. More importantly, the same methods can be used to improve the quality of life, by freeing up your own internal resources. Change your strategies, so you can have more of what you want in life, and less of what you don't want. Your mind is the most powerful tool you will ever use. Why not harness that power and make it work for you and with you, instead of against you?
